This light novel was done so well！ The writing is very casual but that fits the story perfectly。 The characters are the same， and I love them。 The story was super cute and wholesome。

Actual Rating: 3。5/5 StarsThis was just a really cute and fun story。 I loved both Hirano and Kagi so much。 This book can really just be boiled down to cute boys being cute。 It follows their daily lives in this dorm at their high school。 If you're looking for romance like in Sasaki and Miyano you'll be a bit out of luck because this is the very beginning of their relationship so this story only barely gets to Kagi starting to think he likes Hirano more than in a friendship way。 However， come for Actual Rating: 3。5/5 StarsThis was just a really cute and fun story。 I loved both Hirano and Kagi so much。 This book can really just be boiled down to cute boys being cute。 It follows their daily lives in this dorm at their high school。 If you're looking for romance like in Sasaki and Miyano you'll be a bit out of luck because this is the very beginning of their relationship so this story only barely gets to Kagi starting to think he likes Hirano more than in a friendship way。 However， come for the relaxing and fun energy and you'll have a great time。 I also loved seeing little glimpses of Sasaki because he seems a lot more intimidating than when he's with Miyano which was very fun to witness。 Also seeing the fight that led to Sasaki and Miyano meeting mentioned within this story was also really fun for people who know their story。 Overall a fun and quick light read。 。。。more

I didn’t like the first 40ish pages because it felt like I was just rereading what was in the manga but it had a pleasant second half。 I appreciated the extra details that were just one off comments in the manga turned into big plot points in the light novel。
